The Deliberating is Over
Well, nothing is official yet, but it mine as well be. Next week I go to talk to the recruiter and in June, hopefully end of May, I go to Lackland Air Force Base for 8 1/2 weeks for basic training then hopefully I will get to go to Eglin AFB for tech school for about another 3-4 months. Then I will begin my career in the United States Air Force. I am already starting to study a little bit on the ranks and on the chain of command. I am a lil rusty since its been three years since I have touched the stuff, but it is already coming back fast. I have started cutting back on unhealthy foods, and started getting used to healthy alternatives. I want to be able to go in there and clean house so on the 1st of Jan. for my resolution I am going to be working out a lot. running a mile everyday and push ups and sit ups everyday. So it doesn’t kill me too much out there in the Texas heat mid-June and July. But as much as it scares me that I am committing to this, I am really looking forward to my future. Doing this will give me the chance to really see the world more than I ever could before, and learn more about cultures I have never had the chance to even be around shortly. And maybe, by going so many places, I will finally meet the girl right for me.
